YOUTH INTERVENTION


  • Therapeutic Groups and Activities: Evidence-based sessions promoting emotional regulation and coping skills.
  • Religious Studies: Deepening faith and understanding of Islamic teachings.
  • Coaching and Guidance: Helping youth navigate personal and interpersonal challenges.
  • Tutoring: Academic support tailored to individual needs.
  • Family Services: Strengthening communication and fostering a healthy household environment.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH


  • Meeting Community Needs: Collaborating with local communities to assess and address unique challenges.
  • Referrals: Accepting referrals from schools, parents, community leaders, and other programs.
  • Leadership Communication: Assisting other communities in developing services and resources.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Body

  • Sports such as soccer and basketball.
  • Outdoor activities, including hiking and camping.
  • Access to sports facilities.

Spirit

  • Arabic Classes: Building cultural and linguistic connections.
  • Quranic and Islamic Studies: Focused lessons on Fiqh, Ahadith, Seerah, Tarikh, Aqeedah, Akhlaq, and Adab.
  • Hifdh Programs: Supporting Quran memorization.
  • Religious Reminders: Inspiring weekly insights for personal growth.

Mind

Topics covered in therapeutic groups include:

  • Brotherhood.
  • Developing patience and healthy coping mechanisms.
  • Setting healthy boundaries.
  • Fostering forgiveness and empathy.
  • Identifying triggers and managing anger.
  • Enhancing social skills.
  • Emotion regulation skills for anxiety, anger, depression, and stress.

Islamic Studies

Each week focuses on a new theme with age-based content tailored for maximum engagement.

Behavioral Health Integration

Lessons include engaging activities to help students learn and apply skills like emotional regulation and problem-solving.

  2. Completing Intake Forms: Assistance is available for filling out forms.
  3. Evaluation: Once intake forms are completed, an evaluation is scheduled and/or completed.
  4. Individualized Support Plan: A personalized plan is created to meet each youth's needs.
